Skid for conditioning synthesis gas for reduction of NOx formation during combustion. The technology was originally developed for a gas turbine project but was never materialized. The principle is a reactor vessel containing a catalyst which reacts part of the synthesis gas to methanol. Methanol formation reduces the gas specific volume enabling it to be fed to the gas turbine's existing natural gas fuel system. In addition the methanol reduces NOx formation at combustion.
